Introduction
The name of this journal is Jornaalii Dilbii Qorannoo (Journal of Accumulated Resources). The brand name of the journal in Afaan Oromoo is “JDQ.” The journal was established at the international level with the aim of promoting the development of language, culture, history, science, and the arts. It is also the first journal prepared in Afaan Oromoo at the international level.
Afaan Oromoo has long had opportunities to serve as a language of education, language instruction, written communication, working language, research, and academic study. Universities and colleges in Oromia are providing education and training in Afaan Oromoo from diploma level through doctoral level. Wollega University is also playing a significant role in developing the language. Research on language and Oromo culture conducted in the Department of Afaan Oromoo is carried out in Afaan Oromoo.
It is believed that research prepared in Afaan Oromoo, as well as other works written in Afaan Oromoo that meet the requirements of the JDQ guidelines and are published and made available to readers, will be more effective and beneficial. For this reason, the journal was established.
The journal is published twice a year. The first issue covers the period from July to December, while the second issue covers January to June. Researchers submit their manuscripts for publication after confirming that they have fulfilled all the requirements stated in the journal guidelines.

Objectives of Jornaalii Dilbii Qorannoo
Jornaalii Dilbii Qorannoo (JDQ) is a legally established journal founded with the recognition of Wollega University. Therefore, it aims to:
- Publish research and academic studies written in Afaan Oromoo that deal with science, culture, language, philosophy, art, and technology, as well as new knowledge and research focused on solving problems, provided that they meet the journal's selection and review requirements.
- Establish strong relationships with Ethiopian universities and other educational institutions and publish scientific research and new findings resulting from rapidly changing developments.
- Publish high-quality research presented at both Ethiopian and international levels.
- In general, conduct various scientific studies and promote research conducted on Oromo education and culture to the international community.
Contents of the Journal
The journal focuses on new research findings, concepts, experiences, and various studies dealing with educational and controversial topics; invited topics; reports of activities or different events; short discussions; and the importance and role of culture, language, science, technology, and art. Researchers, teachers, and scholars at different levels are expected to make significant contributions to the development of science, technology, culture, language, and Oromo art through this journal.
Submitting to the Journal
Before submitting a manuscript to Jornaalii Dilbii Qorannoo for publication, it is important to understand how the manuscript should be submitted and how it will be reviewed and accepted for publication.
Review Process
Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere on any subject. Authors whose manuscripts fulfill the requirements stated above may submit their work to the journal. The editor carefully examines whether a newly submitted manuscript is scientific, correctly written, and capable of communicating a clear and appropriate message. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements for publication in Jornaalii Dilbii Qorannoo are sent for further review by a specialist who has relevant expertise and experience in the subject matter of the manuscript. However, selected reviewers are required to maintain confidentiality so that they do not communicate with authors during the review process.
Ultimately, all submitted manuscripts receive a final decision based on the reviewers' comments. Reviewers inform authors whether the manuscript needs to be reviewed again, whether it has been accepted or rejected, and whether it requires further improvement. Where necessary, authors may respond to the comments provided on their manuscripts so that reviewers can understand the importance or usefulness of the manuscript.
Manuscripts selected for publication must be returned within three days after correcting grammar, punctuation, formatting, and other comments provided concerning the manuscript's preparation for publication.
Review Regulations
Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements of the journal will be returned to the author for further review. If they cannot be satisfactorily corrected, they will be rejected. The Jornaalii Dilbii Qorannoo organization has the right to correct accepted manuscripts in accordance with its rules and review procedures. Submissions made after the specified deadlines will not be accepted. The entire process of sending the final decision is completed online.
